Improfestival Salento is a festival dedicated to theatre improv in the south of Italy by the beach.

The festival organisers say:

‘Improfestival Salento is the greatest international Improv and Performing Arts festival, taking place at the end of August in the wonderful town of Gallipoli (south of Italy). It’s organized by the patronage of Improteatro Professional National Association, and a network of International Improvisation Groups coming from all over Europe.

The rich program of the festival each year includes several residential days, intensive theatrical workshops, site specific performances, beautiful evenings of fun and many activities to explore Gallipoli and Salento.’
