Here’s a small list of festivals and events in Ireland:

Earthsong Camps involve four camps. It is for people who want to dance and sing in an environment where no drugs and alcohol allowed. The first camp starts in mid-June and the last camp ends in late July.

The Irish Aerial Dance Festival will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. They offer circus arts classes suitable for all levels. If the above video makes you giggle and makes sense to you, you’ll probably enjoy being part of the festival. If it makes no sense but makes you wonder, they also offer week long packages for beginners. It starts in late June.

Irish Decompression Burning Man is for anyone who is looking for a Burning Man experience in Europe. It is usually held in June.

All Ireland Permaculture Gathering offers courses and events on permaculture. It is a self-organising event which is held in August.

The Echo Echo Contact Improvisation Festival is held by the Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company in May. You will be exploring your body and its movements for a week.

Irish Acro offers workshops on Hand to Hand, Partner Acrobatics, Handstands, AcroYoga, Tumbling, Creation and more. The Dublin-based convention lasts for four days and held in May.

Galway Juggling Convention gives you an opportunity to learn new juggling skills while sharing what you know with others who also love juggling. The convention has been going strong for 16 years. It is by the end of May.

 

Bigger Festivals in Ireland

Other music festivals and events in Ireland that we can’t necessarily vouch for include:

Electric Picnic is one of the biggest music festivals of Ireland. It is held in late August. Make sure to check it out if you can find tickets.

Longitude is another well-known music festival of Ireland. This year’s headliners are ASAP Rocky, Chance The Rapper and Cardi B. It is in July.

Galway International Arts Festival offers plays, comedy shows and concerts for two weeks. So far, they announced the live shows of Two Door Cinema Club, Bell X1, The Academic, Burt Bacharach and ORBITAL for this year. It is in July.
