Each year, the Château Perché festival, is an unique fusion of music, art, and culture. It appears at several castles around central France. It’s a three-day celebration of rhythms, art, and culture including 200 local and international artists. It is like a dream come to life, but with less princes and more bass!

The event was established in 2015 by the Auvergne group “L’Atrabilaire Amoureuse”. The objective was to link the French history of old castles with a new wave culture, symbolized by electronic music and alternative arts. The first edition took place in the region of Auvergne, where its founders are from, but it has now spread to other areas in what is known as the “diagonal of nothingness.” House, techno, and schneckno are just a few of the many electronic music genres represented in the soundtrack. The festival now lasts for three days due to how well it did. It will be held again in 2023 with an emphasis on quality and environmental sustainability.
