We’re happy to see a really interesting retreat focused on vocal improvisation and circle singing in an Italian castle!

Dear friends and fellow explorers,
We invite you to join us this July in the hills of Modena for a residential retreat in vocal improvisation—a space where sound becomes connection, movement becomes insight, and community becomes a vessel for creative and personal transformation.

Held with care by Chiara Cortez and Giulia Matteucci, this retreat brings together two experienced facilitators who share a passion for collaborative creation, deep listening, and the human stories that emerge when voices are freed. With roots in vocal improvisation, circlesinging, and somatic and relational practices, this experience will weave together voice and movement, play and silence, self-connection and exploration.

We will work with foundational tools for group improvisation—building musical awareness, creative courage, and emotional presence—while also dedicating space to the inner processes that support collaborative artistry: listening, co-regulation, joy, and mutual trust.

 We welcome 12 curious and courageous participants.
 Workshop held in both Italian and English.
