Spring break yoga and ayurveda retreat in Spain

In this Spring Break Retreat, you will immerse yourself in an enriching experience that combines deep yoga practice with self-inquiry, exploring the psychological foundations, habits, and nutrition of Ayurveda. We will integrate elements of Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Tantra Yoga, and the principles of Ayurvedic Medicine.

Every individual longs for happiness, health, and fulfillment, but to achieve these goals, there are no shortcuts or acts of faith. Yoga, together with meditation and Ayurveda, provides an essential foundation for understanding ourselves and paves a clear path to live life in a way that supports the healing and restructuring process of our personal history.

How do Yoga and Ayurveda define health and disease? These approaches differ from allopathic medicine. In Sanskrit, the concept of “Swastha” translates to “Established in the Self.” Imbalance in the human being occurs when one deviates from their essential nature. Through Yoga, meditation, and the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, we will establish a guiding framework to help participants design a life sadhana (daily practice), allowing them to live a life full of joy, authentic prosperity, purpose, and freedom.

Highlighted activities:

  • Two daily yoga classes, each lasting 1.5 hours, covering Iyengar Yoga, Restorative, Hatha Yoga, and Tantra Yoga.
  • Meditations and Pranayamas (conscious breathing).
  • Two Ayurveda philosophy and theory sessions per day.
  • Nature practices to center awareness in the heart space (Madhya), with 1-2 sessions.
  • Sattvic Ayurvedic food designed to balance the doshas. Allergies and intolerances are taken into account, although we do not address specific pathologies through nutrition in this retreat. For that, we recommend a private consultation.
  • All our retreats are conducted in Spanish with English translation.

The retreat will be led by Pablo Ferrero, a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher with diplomas in yogic studies from the University of Pune and the Bihar School of Yoga in India. Additionally, he is an osteopath and specializes in massage and Ayurvedic nutrition, a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and Tantra Shivaita, with experience in retreats and courses in the Indian Pre-Himalayas and Nepal.
