An international showcase of creativity at circus arts, Festival Cirkul’art is an annual event that happens in Slovakia. It attracts thousands of circus arts enthusiasts and during the 3-day event, there are close to 500 performances being done.
After an extremely successful event back in 2019, the organizers had to postpone the festival in. the past two years due to the pandemic. They are yet to announce the dates for this year’s festival.

The festival organizers say (translated):
“The Cirkul’art New Circus Festival is an international showcase of creative and genre-diverse art productions focusing on contemporary theater and modern circus. It is the only and unique event of its kind in Slovakia and its goal is a quality inspirational program from different parts of the world.
8 years 486 performances 34 countries 69,000 spectators
The new circus is one of the youngest genres of stage art and has become a modern phenomenon reflecting contemporary means of expression.”
