The theme of The Secret Garden Party this year is Sweet Dreams – the allure of fame and celebrity. However, despite those high aspirations, environmental protection, respect for others, and less alcohol are still strongly encouraged.
Also, but of course, the infamous paint fight will occur.
The Secret Garden Party is an annual arts and music festival held thirty minutes drive from Cambridge, England in the wee town of Abbots Ripton. Set on a Georgian farmland amidst its lovingly landscaped gardens wrapping around a small lake, the Secret Garden first opened its doors to the world in the Year of our Lord 2004. Since then it has enticed and captivated thousands of people of all ages and sizes from a wide variety of countries.
The three day event includes loads of loud music, countless colourful displays, and a full variety of vendor food to bust even the hardiest of guts. Engaging with this year’s theme of Sweet Dreams is heartily encouraged. An expectation of fun goes without saying.
There are large sections for tents on-site, toilets available for all, and live-in vans will also be allowed to enter the Garden this year. A responsible amount of alcohol is welcome. Barbecuing, however, is not.
Tickets are sold starting four weeks before the party opens.
